It has been wonderful welcoming everyone back to the school year for 2024. I wish to especially welcome our new families and our preppies to 'big school'.

I sincerely thank our families for ensuring that our children returned to school excited and ready to learn. Our classes are already settled, our children are excitedly making new friends and new connections with all our community.

Thanks for packing hats - the sun is dangerous at the moment!

In our school we know that from time to time challenges may arise and we know that the best way to resolve any problems is to talk to your class teacher or to pop into the office to make a time to chat with me. If an interpreter would be helpful, please just ask - this can be organised.

A key value for our community is inclusion; this means Everyone Belongs - what a wonderful sentiment! This is a value that we demonstrate every day at Glenorchy Primary. I am proud to run a school where the values of acceptance and equity are so embedded in our culture and I am looking forward to celebrating our diversity throughout the year.
