What a joy it has been to see 269 Glenorchy Primary School students connect with their new teachers, staff and classmates.

Things that have filled the my bucket of happiness have been - 

• developing the GPS playlist on Spotify with tunes from Hamilton to Bruno Mars and Lady GaGa - (Michelle does keep sneaking in her Taylor Swift and Kylie Minogue tunes!)
• dancing and singing with our students
• looking out my window and seeing the prep-1 classes excitedly walking to their first ever library session
• watching our prep teachers bravely teach their first lessons of UFLI
• receiving flowers and smiles from our 24 Carrot garden from our grateful students
• hearing the enthusiasm of our new H&PE teacher Mr Gordon and the daily PE leaders
• welcoming new families to our school and getting to know our existing families
• working with the best staff in the world!

Thank you for working with us when things are going well and when we need to problem solve together. I am keen to continue our community connection and if you are interested in helping me keep Glenorchy Primary School a fabulous place to learn and grow we would love to get a new school association running soon.
