Our Winter Sports roster for 2025 is officially underway, and what a fantastic start it’s been for Glenorchy Primary!
Students from Years 5 and 6 have hit the field and court with enthusiasm, competing in netball and football matches against neighbouring primary schools. We are impressed with their teamwork, sportsmanship, and school spirit. We couldn't be prouder.
Well done to all our players—keep up the great work!
This week, AFL Tasmania visited our school and ran a fun and engaging footy session with our students. Students from across the grades participated enthusiastically, developing their handball, drop punt, and chest mark skills. The sessions were energetic and packed with tips, techniques, and most importantly—plenty of fun!
Auskick is also offering a Come and Try session, as well as a 6-week program for any budding footy stars who’d like to get involved. Check out the flyer below for more details!
