After reading the Australian tale Wombat Stew in class, we were all inspired to take our learning outdoors! The playground became our kitchen, and nature provided the ingredients—sticks, leaves, sand, rocks, and a splash of water and we created our very own wombat stews. Look out for our version in the bookstores!!!
