Oral Health Services Tasmania (OHST) visited Glenorchy Primary School for the Fissure Sealant and Fluoride Varnish Program (FSFVP) 13 June - 20 June. This is a preventative program that seals the grooves in young teeth and strengthens enamel to help fight against decay. Students in Kinder, Prep and Grades 1, 2 and 6 were involved. The ages of these grade levels are the optimum time for dental intervention.
