Our students in 1 Boston hopped on the bus on Wednesday and motored into the city to visit Fullers Bookshop. What a great store it is - books everywhere - and we got to listen to the story 'Danny McGee Drinks the Sea' read by Sophie. Sophie talked about the different types of books in the shop - fiction, information, pop-up, colouring in, sticker, chapter, even musical. There are an amazing number of books in the store - 15,000 in stock.

But the best part of all was that we got to choose a book of our very own! Miss Boston gave us all our own calico book bag and we have decorated them ourselves.

After our bookstore adventure we walked up to the Hamlet Cafe where we had a chocolate milkshake (YUM!!) before hopping back on the bus to come back to school.
